Jay Mafale is an audio engineer with a strong foothold in the Hudson Valley and New York Metro areas. He is also the guitar player for nationally touring folk groups The YaYas and No Fuss and Feathers Roadshow. In a previous life, Jay was a classically trained actor… and a stand-up comedian!

 

Raised in a home where Dad accepted nothing less than around-the-clock Frank Sinatra on the hi-fi, Jay gained an appreciation for great voices, great musicianship, great songs, great arrangements and great recordings. 

 

Realizing that the best songs can stand tall with one voice and a single instrument, Jay remains drawn to the singer-songwriter. “No matter what happens in the ever-changing landscape of the music industry, the singer-songwriter can’t fail. We will always need excellent songs and that voice.”
